Where Is My Refund?
In order to find out the status of your refund, you will need to know your filing status, social security number, and the amount of your refund.
When you file electronically, your refund takes approximately 10-21 days to be sent to you either direct deposit or by mail. If you do not receive it within this time frame, you should follow up to find out what the delay is.

Other Tax Reminders:
If you are paper filing your return and sending by conventional mail:
- Make sure you confirm your social security number and address. If you need to make adjustments, you can always go back to your file and make corrections. There is no extra charge to make corrections and reprints as necessary.
- Make sure you include your w2 and 1099 forms if applicable and attach the form to your return.
- Make sure you use enough stamps according to the weight of your envelopes.
- Sending your return by mail normally takes 2 to 3 times longer than e-filing your return. Keep this in mind if you choose to send it by mail versus e-filing.
